Handyrack
No more scorching your hands in the oven cavity when you reach in for your roast. The Handyrack attaches to the main oven door, pulling the roasting tray out for supremely easy access. Holds up to 5.5kg.
Tall Oven
Falcon 90cm double oven upright range cookers feature one main left hand oven and a tall oven on the right. Looks are certainly deceiving when it comes to this space – you will be surprised just how much food can fit in this cavity. The tall oven is supplied with four wire shelves which are adjustable to suit cooking height requirements.
Induction Hob
Induction is fast, responsive and incredibly controllable; boiling water and changing heat levels can be instantaneous. This cooking method is much faster than gas or ceramic and is by far the most efficient. Using a magnetic field to generate heat, only the pan is heated, not the hob surface, so spillages won’t burn onto its surface during use, making cleaning exceptionally easy. Only after exceptionally long cooking periods will the hob become too hot to touch, which is when the Falcon residual heat indicator provides a visual safety warning
Power Boost
Falcon induction upright range cookers feature a power boost option. This makes additional power available therefore quicker cooking times giving greater flexibility and control.
Induction Hob - Pan Detector
If a Falcon induction cooking zone is switched on and there is no pan in place or if the pan is too small for the cooking zone, then no heat will be generated. A Pan Detector symbol will appear on the hob control display which indicates a “pan-missing”. Place a pan of the correct size on the cooking area and the symbol will disappear and cooking can begin. After 10 minutes without detecting a pan the cooking zone will switch off automatically.
Induction Hob - Residual Heat Indicator
After use, a Falcon induction cooking zone will remain hot for a while as heat dissipates. When a cooking zone is switched off the Residual Heat Indicator symbol [H], will appear in the display. This shows that the cooking zone temperature is above 60 °C. Once the temperature has dropped to below 60 °C the [H] will go out.
Induction Hob - Automatic Heat-Up
It allows rapid heating up of the element to bring the selected cooking zone up to temperature. Once the zone is at the required cooking temperature the power level will reduce automatically to the preset level.
Induction Hob - Child Lock Hob
To prevent the unwanted use by children, the hob can be locked. To lock the hob, simultaneously turn the two left-hand controls counter-clockwise and hold until the ‘key lock’ symbol appears in the centre of the hob control display.
Induction Hob - Power 1-9
Falcon induction upright range cookers feature nine power settings which give an instant response with full control through rotary dials.
Induction Hob - Preparation Settings
Falcon induction upright range cookers feature a preparation setting ideal for melting butter or chocolate (L1) or simmering (L2).
Grill
Falcon’s deluxe glide-out grill positioned on smooth telescopic runners, includes a four way grill trivet for multiple grilling level positions. The grill has two elements that allow either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half.
Slow Cooking
All Falcon upright cookers offer the ability to slow cook. Temperatures can be set as low as 80°C which is great to slow cook casseroles and large joints of meat as well as to dry foods such as apples, pears and kiwi fruit. Falcon have a delicious slow cooked spiced lamb shoulder recipe which takes approximately 6 hours on 130°C.
