Whether you shop online, in store or by phone we have a number of options to make receiving your new purchase easy and convenient. 


Small Item Delivery


Delivery In: 2-5 Days

If you need your order in a hurry we will attempt to get them to you as fast as possible. If we can only partially fill your order we will email you to ask whether you would like us to ship the items that we have available and the balance later or hold the order to send all items together.

Rural Delivery Surcharge: $3.50 per shipment
Unfortunately we must charge this additional fee because smaller courier operators are sub contracted by Courier Post to deliver your parcel from the nearest Post Office. Courier Post on-charge this fee to Folders. Please note that delivering to rural addresses can add between 1-3 days to the standard targeted delivery times.

Signature Required: $2.00 per shipment
If you don’t want Courier Post to leave your parcel unattended please selected the signature required option. This is especially recommended for high value items. Neither Courier Post nor Folders are liable for parcels that are stolen, damaged or lost after an item has been delivered. For all small item orders valued $200 and over, a signature will be required for delivery.

Where normal delivery is likely to be delayed by more than five days we will email or call you to advise and arrange a convenient delivery date. Some products do have longer lead times; when this is the case we will always contact you promptly and advise a delivery time. It is not usually possible for us to arrange delivery on a weekend or statutory holiday.

 Large Item Delivery 


Within North & South Islands Only

Once you place your order our work begins. We endeavour to ship your product direct from our supplier's warehouse the day it is ordered. Our extensive delivery network means we can ship anywhere in the North & South Islands. We will ship directly to your home or business.

Please ensure that someone is home on the day of delivery, as most deliveries are required to sign a 'Proof of Delivery'. If no-one is home to sign the POD, the the goods will not be delivered.


Frequently Asked Questions

How much will the delivery cost?
The following charges are specific to New Zealand delivery addresses only. Each product is classified as ‘Small’ or ‘Large’. There are two delivery rates, based on the size of the product. A specific delivery fee for an item delivered to your area can be calculated from the cart page, otherwise you can contact us on 0800 156 678 during normal business hours.The delivery fee is charged per order. When ordering multiple products on the same order, you will only be charged one delivery fee.  A single order consisting of a combination of Small and Large items will only be charged at the Large rate.


How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Large Item Delivery Times:
Most of our orders will be sent direct from our suppliers. Delivery times for large items will depend on stock levels at the supplier. If they have the item in-stock, our team will be in contact with you to arrange a delivery time after your order is processed. You will receive email notification when your order has been processed and a call from our team will follow, usually within 1- 2 working days. Bookings for delivery times are usually available within 3 working days from when our team calls you to arrange delivery.

Small Item Delivery Times:
Delivery times for small items are dependent on stock availability in store at the time of your order. If an item is in-stock, our team will dispatch the item out to you on the next available courier, after your order has been processed. You will receive notification when your order has been processed and you will also receive an email when your order is dispatched via CourierPost to advise you that the item is on its way.


Can I collect my order from the store?
Local customers may place an order online then collect it from Folders.

If we have the items in stock you can collect the order as soon as the order has been processed, you will receive notification of this. Otherwise, if the item you ordered is not in stock, our team will order in the product from our supplier. Orders normally take approximately 2-4 working days and you will be contacted as soon as the item is in-store and ready for collection.

To collect in-store, place your order online as normal and select the "collect in-store" option during the checkout process.

You will not be charged a delivery fee if you opt to collect the product from Folders.

After placing your order, you will be contacted when your order is available to pick-up.

Products may only be picked up from Folders upon presentation of valid New Zealand photographic ID and an order number. Please ensure that the person you have named to pick-up the order shows one of the following forms of ID:

• New Zealand Driver's licence
• Passport
• 18+ card


Where do you deliver for Online Orders?
Online orders can be shipped anywhere in New Zealand, with the exception of large items to islands including the Chatham Islands, Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island and Stewart Island.  We are able to deliver to a freight forwarder arranged by the customer. While you can place an order online from overseas, we are only able to delivery to valid New Zealand addresses and you will be required to provide both a New Zealand address and valid New Zealand contact details during the checkout process. 

For delivery of small items, a courier charge is required and we usually ship to any New Zealand Address.

Delivery charges will vary depending on the item and location of delivery.


How can I track my order?
We use CourierPost for our small item deliveries; once you have received email notification that your order has been dispatched and you have been supplied with a tracking number, you are able to track your parcel via the track and trace section of the courier post website:
For large item deliveries, you will be contacted by our team to pre-arrange a time for delivery once your order is processed and your item is in-stock with them.
