The Sunbeam DT6000 Food Lab Electronic Dehydrator will save you money and storage as it allows you to preserve food. Dry apricots, yogurts, vegetables all with this innovative design. Nothing will go to waste for sure! Featuring six large-sized drawers that let you separate your foods and dry them comfortably without cramming everything into one drawer. As horizontal air flow allows the temperature to remain consistent in all areas of the dehydrator, no shelf rotation is needed.

  • Countdown Timer

    Set for up to 19.5 hours in 30 min increments. The remaining time will display on the LCD screen and automatically turn off when the timer ends.

    Precise Temperatures

    8 set temperatures from 35˚C to 70˚C, electronically controlled for accurate and even drying.

    No Need to Rotate Shelves

    Horizontal air flow means the temperature is consistent in all areas of the dehydrator.

    Can I dehydrate longer than 19.5hrs?

    The maximum drying time is 19 and a half hours. If you wish to run for longer, you will need to allow the unit to cool down before restarting. Turn the power button off, then unplug and let the unit cool down for at least 2 hours before operating again.

    Do you have to use all 6 trays at a time, or can I just use 2?

    Yes, you can just use 2 trays at a time. We suggest putting a spare empty tray on the top shelf and then place the 2 trays evenly apart below. The empty top tray allows the air to circulate evenly rather than directly onto the next tray down

    Why do get different results for the same recipe?

    It is recommended to keep records of humidity, weight of produce before and after drying times, will be helpful in improving your drying techniques for the future.

Firstly, thanks for the swift deliver of the dehydrator, great service 👍 I have only just started dehydrating food. So far only fruit, but will try fruit rollups and dry herbs and anything surplus in the garden. The machine is great, comes with simple instructions, easy to use. Im not having to store everything in the freezer to use over the winter months so no ongoing cost after dehydration. I am 100% happy with this purchase
