    Yes by selecting the AIRFRY cooking function you can air fry without steam.

    What is SteamFry?

    This function uses the fast crispy cooking of an air fryer with the addition of steam during the cooking process. This retains moisture in the food, creates higher and more even cooking temperatures resulting in a tender, juicy result.

    What functions use steam?

    The following functions use steam – STEAMFRY, STEAM, STEAM CLEAN. The following presets also use steam – Whole chicken, Drumsticks, Fish and Vegetables.

    Can I put other liquids in the water tank?

    Only water should be used to fill the water tank to cook with. White vinegar may be added with water to descale the air fryer – refer to cleaning instructions.

There is no manual on how to. Use this Airfryer, tried to get some information from You Tube
Have only cooked home made chips they certainly were NOT crispy
Would appreciate some help
We are both in our 80s the family said this is they way to cook but we are losst
