Rembrandt Industrial Style Dining Table CF8029

I love this table …. but there are a few things you should be aware of before buying.
The table sits high (78cm), so perfect if you have a tall family. I had the table lowered.
The wheels on the feet are great for my purposes, as we eat inside and outside a lot (I never leave the table outside over night). It looks like the levers attached to the feet will lock the wheels in place - but they don’t - they’re there for cosmetic purposes, so you need furniture feet cups to place under the wheels if you want it to stay in one place and not roll when someone leans on the table.
I have a half broom and shovel I use only on this table to sweep it down after use - as it has many grooves, so a simple wipe down after the table has been used won’t clean it properly.
The table is also quite porous, so any oils and liquids you spill on the table directly, will soak straight in. Thankfully the tabletop is aged and grooved - so spills etc are noticeable but don’t look out of place - if that makes sense.
These aren’t complaints about the table, simply things you should be aware of if you’re considering buying it, hopefully it’ll help you make a more informed decision.
The table looks great and is very sturdy, so I’m hoping it will last for many years to come.
