Martin Ukulele strings offer a high tensile strength core wire to hold tunings longer and improve harmonic output for consistent true tone.  They are made with clear fluorocarbon, aluminium wrap on nylon and tin plated copper on nylon.

Inaccurate discription

On the front of the package are printed the words "Clear Flourocarbon " , but in reality 2 of the 4 strings are as described and 2 are metal wound. The vendors reaction was to blame the manufacturer...I would hope that this vendor now changes their description of this product
