Half filling Kettle with a thermos of hot water I noticed a burning smell . I pulled the plug out and it burnt my fingers and and the water was still not hot enough to make a drink

takes about 20 minutes to make a pot of tea best for single cup use . Filling it up will mean bringing it to boil takes ages
