- Before the initial use, clean the fry pan with very hot water and dry it thoroughly. Add 1cm of oil to the pan and heat on medium for 5 minutes or until the oil begins to bubble. Turn off the heat. This initial step will help to even out any oily spots on the pan. Allow the pan to cool, then discard the oil, wiping away any excess oil with a paper towel. At this point, the pan will start to darken and will lose its marks and spots. Repeat this process one or two additional times. The more the pan is utilized, the better its performance. The darker it becomes, the more effective it is for natural nonstick properties.
- To maintain the pan's properties and prevent oxidation, wash it in hot tap water right after use, and then dry it immediately with a paper towel, ensuring it is completely dry, before applying a thin layer of oil and storing it in a dry location.
