Great telescopic mast, useless wire bracing

The mast itself is great. However the wire bracing is cheaply made and the loops are not crimped well. One of the wire loops "fell out" of the crimp before I even got to tighten it. As I live on a remote island I have no opportunity to get it fixed. So I cannot brace it with the wire as intended :>( Unfortunately you seem to get this with chinese stuff where one part is well made and another is so badly made that the sum total does not work as intended. Would I buy another one? Yes I would, as the telescopic mast is well made and pulls out to 4.5 m. And then I would throw the wire in the bin as it is not worth taking the risk with a sub standard assembly on an expensive antenna.
