Wash and allow to dry before first use. It's best to fill your mill 3/4 full. It's easy to do, unscrew the lid and pour your salt or pepper into the glass body. Always store your salt & pepper mills in a dry place. Avoid using above a steaming pot. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse grinding mechanism in water.
