Maintenance & Care

• Cutting on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as bamboo timber or a plastic cutting board will help prevent premature dulling of the blade.

• SCANPAN SAX knives are dishwasher safe; however, harsh detergents may lead to discoloration of the handles and pitting of the blades. These are precision cutting tools, and the blade edge could become dull or chipped if it comes into contact with other items in the dishwasher. We recommend hand-washing your knife and drying it thoroughly.
• Utilize a knife block or knife magnet to store the knives and protect the blades. Never store knives loose in a drawer.
