Caution

Do not exceed the fill line of the carafe and ensure the spout is directed away from you when pressing the plunger. Keep out of reach of children while in use.

Cleaning Instructions

To clean the plunger, detach the infuser and lid from the glass carafe.

• Rinse the filter with warm water and dish soap. A washing-up brush may assist in removing coffee residue.
• Wash the glass with a mild detergent, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Rinse the lid with cold water and dry it.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners and scrubbers when hand washing.
• Dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not reassemble until all parts are completely dry.
• Dishwasher safe.

Directions for Use

• Pre-rinse the carafe with boiling water.
• Using high-quality coarse coffee grounds, add two level tablespoons per 125ml into the carafe, then pour in clean, fresh water just off the boil. (For best results, do not use re-boiled, stale, or bottled water).
• Gently stir the coffee with a non-metal utensil, then place the lid on the carafe with the plunger pulled up for 4 minutes. This crucial pause allows the grounds to release the essential oils and flavors that create the rich, aromatic qualities of fine coffee.
• Finally, slowly press down the plunger until the knob touches the lid. Serve within 20 minutes.
