Caution

Do not overfill the carafe and always ensure the spout is facing away from you when pressing the plunger. Keep out of reach of children while in use.

Cleaning Instructions

To clean the plunger, detach the infuser and lid from the glass carafe.

• Wash the filter with warm water and dish soap. A washing-up brush may assist in removing coffee residue.
• Clean the glass with a mild detergent, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Rinse the lid with cold water and dry.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners and scourers when washing by hand.
• Dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not reassemble until all parts are completely dry.
• Dishwasher safe.

Directions for Use

• Pre-rinse the carafe with boiling water.
• Using high-quality coarse coffee grounds, add two level tablespoons per 125ml into the carafe and pour in clean fresh water, just off the boil. (For best results, do not use re-boiled, stale, or bottled water).
• Gently stir the coffee with a non-metal utensil, then cover the carafe with the lid and plunger withdrawn for 4 minutes. This crucial pause allows the grounds to release the essential oils and flavors that create the rich, aromatic qualities found in fine coffee.
• Finally, slowly press the plunger down until the knob touches the lid. Serve within 20 minutes.
