Before First Use Wash the pan in hot soapy water using a nylon cloth/brush. Avoid using harsh scourers. Routine Cleaning After cooking, do not add cold water to a hot pan; wait until it cools, then remove all food and fat residue with hot soapy water and a nylon cloth/brush; excessive high heat can cause heat tint or streak marks. Do NOT use excessive high heat. To eliminate streak marks, combine 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate soda with water to form a paste. Apply the paste with a soft cloth in a circular motion, then rinse off as usual. Although the range is dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to prolong the product's life. For even better results, utilize the SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner for an "as new" finish.
