  • These are extremely useful if you're working with USB-C and need to test or simulate how power delivery works, without needing a whole device actually to negotiate the voltages.

    Need an easy way to get more than 5 volts out of your USB-C charger? This little breakout board makes it simple.

    Just plug in a USB-C PD power supply, and the board will “ask” for the voltage you want: 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, 18 V, or even 20 V, and give it to you on a pair of screw terminals or breakout pins—no fiddling with full PD negotiation circuits needed.

    You can set it up in two ways:

    Fixed mode: Use the built-in solder jumpers to lock the device to a specific voltage and current. Ideal for those requiring a steady 12 V or 20 V power source for their project.

    I2C mode: Hook it up to a microcontroller and change voltages in real time from your code. Handy if you’re experimenting or need flexibility.

    It’s small, straightforward, and safe. Ships defaulted to 5V/1A, so nothing scary happens when you first power it up. With the proper charger, you can draw up to 100 W, making it ideal for powering larger boards, motors, or test equipment directly from a USB-C brick.
