Garcima Andreu Paella Set 46cm with 40cm Burner & Stand

The original. Garcima is the workshop in Valencia that professional kitchens associate with paella, and the Andreu set is their portable configuration — the pan, the burner, and the wheels-and-tray stand combined as a complete outdoor setup.

The pan measures 46cm in polished carbon steel, the typical size for entertaining, suitable for twelve servings with a thin Valencian rice. Beneath it is the 40cm two-ring burner featuring independent controls for the inner and outer rings, allowing heat to adjust with the dish through its cooking phases. The three-legged stand is equipped with two wheels for easy movement around a courtyard or patio, and it includes a tray underneath designed to hold tongs, oils, and condiments within easy reach during service. A hose and regulator are part of the kit, ready for a standard LPG gas bottle (bottle not included).

The polished carbon steel pan develops a dark seasoned surface over time — the working surface that creates the socarrat at the bottom and provides paella with its characteristic crust. Polished pans require seasoning before initial use and should be dried thoroughly after each wash to avoid rust.

Care

Hand wash the paella pan using warm soapy water, dry it thoroughly, and apply a light coat of oil after drying to season the surface and prevent rust. The burner, stand, and tray can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe.

Safety

For outdoor use only. Connect solely to standard LPG gas bottles using the included regulator and hose. Inspect all connections for leaks with soapy water before igniting. Keep flammable materials away from the burner during operation. Allow the burner and pan to cool completely prior to disassembly.
