I bought a pair of them because they could handle LOTS of watts and didn't require a crossover . They ran fine up to about
2 thirds volume on my Rotel RA-870BX
amplifier ... then the amp blew 2 fuses .
After replacing the fuses it blew 2 more the next day . So I disconnected the new Piezo tweeters in the cabinets and haven't had a problem since . I would call the whole exercise "a failed experiment" .They WERE very cheap and I am getting plenty of treble from the pair of
"Bullet" tweeters that I had recently purchased elsewhere which now reside in my Wharfedale S-500 cabinets .
