  • Description

The PYROCAST 19.5cm Skillet is ideal for daily cooking or bistro-style gatherings. Durable, long-lasting, and sturdy, it’s perfect for frying a batch of bacon or baking a gooey, sticky cake. Care for your cast iron skillet, and it will provide a lifetime of culinary enjoyment and become a treasured heirloom for future generations!

    • Heavy-duty cast iron
    • Cast iron cookware retains heat at high temperatures, making it perfect for searing, sautéing, and grilling
    • Suitable for home cooks, restaurants, or outdoor camping
    • Compatible with induction, ceramic, electric, gas, grills, or campfires
    • All cast iron features a black patina - a pre-seasoning of oil to prevent rust
    • Serve hot, sizzling dishes directly at the table
    • The seasoning process has been initiated for you to minimize sticking during the first use of your cookware.
    • Performance enhances with each use and seasoning.
    • Equipped with twin curved spouts for mess-free pouring
    • Before cooking, apply vegetable oil to the cooking surface of your skillet and preheat slowly
    • Once the utensil is adequately preheated, you are ready to begin cooking
    • A low to medium temperature setting is adequate for most cooking tasks
    • A vegetable oil coating is particularly suitable for cast iron cookware when frying or searing.
    • This helps maintain the excellent heat conduction properties of cast iron while protecting the cookware from rust
    • Do not place this cookware in the dishwasher
    • Dishwasher cleaning will remove the seasoning and lead to rust
    • After cooking, clean your skillet with a nylon brush or sponge and hot water
    • Towel dry immediately and apply a light layer of oil to the skillet while it is still warm
    • Store in a cool, dry location
    • Never immerse a hot cast iron skillet in cold water, as thermal shock can cause warping or cracking
    • Cast iron becomes very hot during use; always use oven mitts or pot holders to handle your cookware
    • Clean cast iron by hand using a nylon brush or sponge and hot water. If necessary, use a pan scraper for stuck food. A small amount of detergent can be used, but excessive detergent may diminish the seasoning effect, especially if the pan is not fully seasoned.
    • For particularly stubborn residues, simmer a small amount of water for 1 minute, then use the scraper after it cools.
    • Dry promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
    • Apply a very light layer of cooking oil while the cookware is still warm.
    • This helps prevent rusting.
    • Hang or store cookware in a dry environment.
    • The surface of the cookware is not completely impervious, so do not wash it in the dishwasher as this will ruin the seasoning and lead to rust.
