It is ideal for transitioning from cooktop to oven: sear and brown your roast on the cooktop before transferring it to the oven, and then finish your sauce or gravy on the cooktop after the roast is done. Avoid harsh scourers. Routine Cleaning After cooking, empty the contents and scrub the pan vigorously with a soft nylon scourer and hot soapy water, ensuring all food fat and residue are removed. Never use harsh or abrasive cloths or cleaning liquids/pastes. Dry and store properly. Although dishwasher safe, SCANPAN always recommends hand washing to prolong the product's lifespan.
