• Sustainably sourced acacia. A beautifully grained hardwood where each board features a unique pattern. Durable enough for frequent use, naturally antibacterial, and inherently resistant to moisture and wear.
• Second timber included. Light and uniformly grained, sourced from plantation trees at the conclusion of their latex-producing cycle rather than cut down for timber.
• Kinder to your knives. The wood is gentler on blades compared to glass or stone, helping edges remain sharp for a longer duration.
• Naturally more hygienic than plastic. Wood possesses natural antibacterial qualities and does not retain the knife marks that plastic does.
• Measures 19.5x15x1.4cm. Sized appropriately for you to verify against your countertop before purchasing.
• Finished to show the grain. Treated to enhance the color and figure of the wood rather than conceal it with a coating.
• Hand wash and dry. Timber should not be placed in a dishwasher, and a simple wipe down will extend the life of the board for years.
• Oil it now and then. Applying food-safe mineral oil nourishes the wood and prevents the grain from drying out. With this care, a board like this can outlast most kitchen items.
